Eligibility Criteria

  • Hold a Ph.D. in bioengineering, chemistry, biochemistry, materials science, or a related discipline.
  • Possess expertise in inorganic and nanomaterials synthesis, bioconjugation techniques, mammalian cell culture, molecular biology methods, and optical/electron microscopy.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in diverse and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Have experience in mentoring graduate and undergraduate students.



The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Research (70%): Conducting chemical synthesis and characterization of bioconjugated nanomaterials, performing nanoparticle-cell studies, and evaluating their impact on cell function using various techniques.
  • Reports, Manuscripts, and Proposal Preparation (20%): Maintaining detailed records, preparing reports, manuscripts, and contributing to proposal preparation.
  • Laboratory Maintenance and Mentoring (10%): Contributing to lab maintenance, overseeing equipment, and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
