Federal Polytechnic Mubi Admission Requirements 2024

The admission process for Federal Polytechnic Mubi is comprehensive and ensures that candidates meet specific criteria. The requirements for National Diploma (ND) admission for the 2022/2023 academic session include:

  • All candidates must list Federal Polytechnic Mubi as their Institution of First Choice during UTME registration.
  • A minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE, WAEC, NECO, GCE, NBC, or NABTEB, not more than two sittings.
  • Candidates who did not initially select Federal Polytechnic Mubi during UTME registration can still participate in the screening exercise by modifying their university through JAMB CAPS.

For Higher National Diploma (HND) admission, candidates must have:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of post-National Diploma (ND) cognate work experience.
  • Met the ND minimum entry requirements with four (4) relevant credit passes at SSCE/GCE ‘O’ Level in English Language, Mathematics, or Pre-HND qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Consideration may be given to applicants with NDs at the pass level who have at least two (2) years of relevant post-qualification job experience.

The application procedure involves using the JAMB registration number as both the login ID and password to access the institution’s portal, where a screening fee of N2,000 must be paid through Remita.
