Responsibilities: As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and optimizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for drug synergy testing.
- Creating complex culture conditions to simulate the CF lung environment.
- Identifying suitable methodologies and ensuring data validity.
- Taking initiative in research planning and effectively communicating findings.
- Project management, supervision, and maintaining accurate experimental records.
- Submitting publications to leading journals and attracting external research funding.
Requirements
To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must have:
- A PhD in microbiology or a closely related field.
- Demonstrable interest in clinical respiratory infection, preferably cystic fibrosis.
- Evidence of conducting relevant research.
Rewards:
Successful candidates will receive:
- Full-time fixed-term contract for 2 years.
- Candidates who have not yet been awarded their PhD will be appointed as Research Assistants within a specified salary range.
